What is an editor for furniture and objects ?

The term of "Editor" is often used in the world of writing. But it applies just as much to the world of object and furniture design.
The parallel is quite simple.
In the process of bringing a book to fruition, there is a writer first who writes his manuscript.
There is then a Editor which corrects, works with the writer to make adjustments, formats the book... and takes care of its marketing.
And finally, there is the broadcaster, the store, the platform where you will buy it.

It is the same in the world of design. Replace the writer with the designer, and the rest is identical!
